The Electrical Engineer will perform a broad range of work tasks with guidance and support from other engineering and management staff, including preparing specifications and other engineering documents, planning and directing hydro-electric equipment refurbishment projects, and troubleshooting equipment failures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a minimum of four years' work experience in a related field
- Travel as required for project supervision and execution (~30%)
- Strong understanding of power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines
- Experience with industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights on or near water
- Dexterity to manipulate various size components
- Ability to handle rapidly changing situations under stress
