East Side House Settlement is seeking a dynamic and hard-working Social Worker to lead wrap-around services for program participants and families, design and implement social work programs, and respond to day-to-day participant issues and unanticipated crises.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work
- New York State LMSW from an accredited school of social work
- SIFI Certification strongly with at least one year's experience supervising social work interns
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage, build relationships, and demonstrate empathy with children and families
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with staff members
- Diverse cultural competence required
- Interest in and comfort with working with data informed practice
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel, email correspondence, and database management a requisite
