Social Worker

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Social Worker to provide comprehensive and integrated on-site social services to residents at Dove House, a facility for individuals and children experiencing domestic violence. The Social Worker will be responsible for conducting intake and assessment processes, managing a caseload, and providing case management and therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC or LMSW)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the social service field
• Knowledge of behavioral health and mental health classifications, trauma, and treatment options
• Experience working with diverse client populations
