Social Worker

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Social Worker to provide comprehensive social services to residents at our Liberty facility, which provides safe and anonymous housing for individuals and their children experiencing domestic violence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC or LMSW)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the social service field
• Knowledge of behavioral health and mental health classifications, trauma, and treatment options
• Experience working with survivors of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking a plus
