The Communications Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Communications team with all ESC-related projects. This includes developing a detailed plan of tasks required to complete assigned projects, working with the project team to develop the plan, assign tasks and deadlines, identify success criteria, and communicate progress.
Requirements
- Capture project objectives and goals from internal and external clients and clearly document and communicate them with team members within the Communications Department
- Ensure all needed resources are available to meet project requirements
- Oversee project-level scope, schedule, and timely delivery
- Ensure projects adhere to Church processes and policies equivalent to the sphere of work
- Provide guidance in the creation of project plans and deliverables
- Communicate with internal and external partners on progress and receive their feedback
- At the completion of a project, capture and provide lessons learned to be applied to subsequent projects
- Lead teams to develop, evaluate, and revise projects and processes
- Contribute to content creation for internal communications projects such as video announcements, promo videos, newsletters, etc.
- Collaborate with various members of the COM Department to provide clear objectives, content creation, storytelling, music selection, and editing for special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Communications Director
