Job Description
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides assistance to individuals with physical, developmental, and/or intellectual disabilities in a supportive and positive learning environment. They will assist with daily living skills, personal care, recreational activities, and provide support with health and safety. The role emphasizes independence and fostering an active lifestyle.
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or GED or equivalent OR at least one (1) year of verifiable experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables.
- First Aid and CPR certification within the first 90 days of employment.
- Valid Arkansas Driver's License
