Job Description
Eastman Chemical Company is seeking a Production Operator to receive, unload, and forward products and supplies according to supervisor's direction. Responsibilities include setting up production machines, performing troubleshooting, and monitoring raw material inventories. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety and quality, with experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to perform high quality, cost effective work in order to meet customer expectations
- Ability to efficiently and effectively monitor plant equipment and make adjustments to processes and controls
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Flexibility in approach to tasks and openness to change
