Job Description
Responsible for managing medical administrative assistants, providing daily leadership and task direction, and ensuring quality and service expectations. Accountable for staffing, onboarding, and training new hires, and identifies opportunities for operational improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of six years experience in an administrative support role or one year degree/diploma in an administrative, business, or medical-related program with five years experience, or associate degree with four years experience, or bachelor's degree with two years experience
- Leadership and organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively with others
- Prior management experience preferred
- Medical Terminology course within six months of employment (for individuals without medical education or experience)
- Anatomy/Physiology may be required depending on role and background
