Lead Quality Engineer (Programmatic)

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Lead Quality Engineer (Programmatic) to develop, deploy, and manage quality plans and processes for programmatic jobs providing technical guidance to drive standardization, improvement, innovation and introduction of technology that supports product quality efficiency and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Owns quality process and plans development and standardization for product line programmatic jobs
• Support development and design of quality inspection tools and systems for optimized yield, improved line throughput and customer performance
• Develop detailed technical specifications for new inspection and test tools/equipment
• Develop standards for optimized workflow, traceability and error proofing
• Support sites with programmatic job launch and process validation
• Work with design engineering to help incorporate design for quality elements into product development
• Provide training, guidance and technical support to site quality personnel
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, and Pro Launch through the creation of Standard Work, Design of Experiments, Control Plans and SPC for production lines
• Work with industrialization team to introduce error proofing into manufacturing processes
• Support EQS initiatives with particular focus on PFMEA and Control plans
• Support development of standard work and work center instructions for all related programmatic processes
• Becomes the product line programmatic quality subject matter expert helping build capabilities across sites
