Job Description
Eaton India Innovation Center is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products, designing and executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Design and execute test cases and test plans for web, API, and backend applications
- Perform hands-on manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality releases
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality
- Execute and maintain UI and API automation tests using Selenium and Postman
- Perform API testing and database validation using SQL queries
- Test applications deployed on Azure Cloud and support CI/CD test execution via Azure DevOps
- Identify, log, and track defects and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Ensure adequate test coverage across functional and regression testing
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement
- Write and review test-related code with a focus on quality and reliability
