Quality Engineer Manager

Eaton is seeking a Quality Engineer Manager to manage quality within the assigned integrated product team (IPT – value stream) and provide quality function expertise. The role will manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Engineering Technicians to ensure Eaton can meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

• Manage, coach, and mentor the quality team
• Deploy significant quality expertise to provide tangible benefit to the organization
• Member of the Quality Leadership Team
• Maintain performance management Key Performance Indicators
• Lead cross-functional corrective action and/or continuous improvement teams
• Use the latest quality, problem solving techniques, and best working practices
• Manage Corrective Action Board activities for assigned IPT
• Participate in Root Cause Problem Solving projects
• Leadership in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Support Failure Mode avoidance activities
• Ensure proper handling of non-conformities and customer complaints
• Identify, develop, and implement systems that will assure product conformance to specifications
• Work within the organization to execute changes and improvements to the quality management system
