Quality Manager

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. The position provides overall leadership for Quality, driving the Strategic Quality Plan at the operational level and ensuring achievement of operating and production objectives consistent with quality assurance requirements and customer. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure continued success in the deployment of the Eaton Business System, developing short- and long-term business strategies to align resources to meet future customer needs, and promoting a safe work environment by implementing a culture of prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and application of rules to prevent any incident or accident.

Requirements

• Industrial Engineering degree or related fields
• 5 – 7 years experience in a management position within a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive)
• English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required
• Broad technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes, quality assurance plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application
• EBE (or equivalent process) examiner or organization leader, six sigma qualification would also be beneficial
• Broad financial knowledge for asset management, budgeting and profit plan obtainment
• Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels
• Strong leadership skills must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement
