To improve organizational effectiveness through the coordination and deployment of the Eaton Quality System to ensure the business meets growth, productivity, and quality objectives.
Requirements
- Drive continual improvement in the Eaton Business Excellence process throughout the organization.
- Develop a competent, high performance quality staff and promote a positive quality culture throughout the facility.
- Deliver an optimized total quality system in accordance with Eaton quality standards and industry best practices.
- Analyze organizational Quality metrics and perform Management Reviews to evaluate results and recommend countermeasures to close gaps at the operational level.
- Participate as an equal member of the leadership team, all of whom are responsible for the advancement of the quality goals and objectives of the organization to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the product and processes utilized in the plant.
- Drive the deployment of the Eaton Quality System process for the organization including identification of improvement actions that result from the EQS assessment process.
- Facilitate customer and third-party Quality audits and inspections as appropriate to demonstrate compliance.
- Oversee and/or lead the internal Quality System Audit program for the organization and manage the corrective action system in conjunction with the management review process.
- Ensure successful launch through proper development and execution of process controls and APQP deliverables including PFMEA, Process Control Plans, Inspection Plans, PPAP, etc.
- Drive expedient resolution of internal and external quality concerns through the application of 8D and other formal problem-solving methodology as required.
- Manage Final and In-Process inspections necessary to ensure Quality products/shipments to customers.
- Measure, manage, and drive improvement in supplier performance.
- Partner with the Supply Chain Management organization relative to the Supplier Quality Assurance activities of the operation as well as provide Quality interface, expertise and support to the organization’s suppliers and partners.
- Lead plant Supplier Quality activities to ensure the incoming Quality of purchased parts and manage cost out compliance with suppliers.
- Maintain contact with customers and customer service center to resolve customer complaints; oversee customer quality relations programs to effectively mediate issues related to customer satisfaction and to oversee the correction of shipping errors.
- Manage and Maintain CQM and Warranty claim system.
- Manage DMR system for internal customers.
- Focus five lead for internal customers.
