Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will design, implement, improve, and maintain the processes in area of responsibility, related to gear and shaft manufacturing required for OEM and aftermarket customers in alignment to Department Goals around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to conduct time studies and implement solutions for bottleneck improvements and line balancing.
- Knowledge of environmental laws and O.S.H.A. rules and regulation.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
- Project Management knowledge.
- Working knowledge and experience manufacturing, specifically, knowledge and operation of CNC machining, Lean tools, assembly, blue print reading, measurement systems, and working within a structured team environment.
