Job Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring purchased material and components meet requirements and development aligned to AS9100 and customer/regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8-12 years in manufacturing/industrial environment with minimum 5 years in Supplier Quality within Aerospace
- Deep knowledge of AS9100 and AS9145 (APQP/PPAP), FAIR per AS9102, GD&T, SPC/MSA, PFMEA/Control Plan, RCCA/8D, auditing, and special processes
- Experience with RMA/MRB, cost recovery, contracts/CoQ, and ERP/QMS workflows
- ASQ CQE/CQA and/or Lead Auditor preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management with suppliers, assertive follow-up, analytical problem solving, project management, presentation, and time management
