Job Description
Ebury is seeking a Global Head of Compliance Assurance, Monitoring & Testing to lead the second-line-of-defense function, ensuring rigorous assessment of Financial Crime controls and compliance with laws and regulations. The role requires a strong leadership experience, extensive knowledge of AML/CFT and Sanctions regulations, and experience with data-driven and AI tooling.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of FC Quality Assurance specialists
- Extensive experience in Financial Crime Quality Assurance or Compliance testing within the finance industry
- A strong grasp of control frameworks and the 3 Lines of Defense model
- Demonstrated experience with data-driven and/or AI tooling, leveraging analytics to provide insight and coverage
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory concepts, analyse control data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
- Experience in a Fintech environment is useful; banking experience is also welcome
