We are looking for an enthusiastic career guidance counselor and educator for our small-scale language transition programs in Alphen aan den Rijn. As a coordinator, career guidance counselor and educator, you guide newcomers in the Netherlands towards a suitable mbo training. You are responsible for one or more (preferably all) components within the Education Route: Coordinating the Education Route, Career guidance, Teaching Mathematics and English, The Modules: 1. Skills for Educational and Professional Choice 2. Learning Skills. Requirements

• Have an affinity with the target group of newcomers and especially status holders
• Have experience with group teaching and pedagogy
• Be familiar with the requirements that mbo training programs have
• Have coaching skills and be able to enthuse and promote self-confidence with a positive approach among students
• Be qualified to teach in accordance with the Education and Vocational Education Act and the ensuing decisions and regulations
• Be able to keep track, work in a structured way, and systematically keep and order data, including working with our student follow-up system
