Job Description
The Controller is responsible for safeguarding the financial affairs and data integrity of the organization, preparing financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and FASB guidelines.
Requirements
- Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information
- Evaluation and development of personnel on the Accounting Team
- Maintenance of the company's system of accounts and transactions
- Management of the financial closing process
- Support of the Finance team in preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
- Tax planning and compliance
- Optimization and oversight of AR, Trade Deductions, and AP process
- Partnership with Commercial and Operations teams
- Determination of depreciation rates
- Optimization, tracking, and management of inventory booking, costing, and cost allocation methodologies
- Management of successful audits
- Providing effective financial controls and continuous improvement around controls and system processes
- Oversee tax compliance and proper regulatory reporting
