Job Description
The Substitute Teacher position at the Early Childhood Center provides daily support, creates a nurturing environment, and assists with classroom instruction, kitchen/janitorial duties, and parent communication. The role focuses on implementing developmentally appropriate activities and upholding ECS Discipline Policy. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of full-time work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrate competency to provide effective and nurturing teacher-child interactions.
- Current First Aid and Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training.
- Knowledge of applicable safety and abuse-reporting procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and families.
