Job Description
Edmentum is seeking a Virtual Teacher, Health/PE, to deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, creating an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience that inspires student participation and achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Active state teaching license in Washington (state), Michigan, and/or West Virginia in Health & Physical Education grades 6-12.
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
- Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software
- Data-informed and able to use student performance data to adjust instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and self-directed
- Commitment to professional growth and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices
