Job Description
This compliance officer role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program to protect the organization from legal and financial risks. The role requires staying updated on regulations, conducting audits, educating employees, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations. It involves collaboration with various departments and maintaining health/safety inspections.
Requirements
- Develop and implement a company-wide compliance program
- Conduct risk assessments
- Monitor adherence to internal controls and regulations
- Investigate and report on compliance incidents
- Design and deliver compliance training programs
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance integration
- Maintain accreditation documentation with Cognia
- Ensure all health/safety inspections are current
- Review staff for current and up-to-date licenses
- Ensure compliance and timely submission of ODE requirements
- Ensure compliance and timely submission of ODE requirements as it relates to academic and fiscal requirements
- Review all staff for current and up-to-date licenses
- Ensure all background checks are current
- Ensure all drivers licensure checks are completed periodically
- Perform other duties as assigned
