Director, UX

Eightfold is seeking a Director of UX to lead the UX vision for agentic AI experiences across their platform, starting with Talent Acquisition workflows and expanding across the broader talent lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive experience in UX / Product Design, including experience leading design teams, and a strong portfolio demonstrating complex enterprise product design and system-level thinking.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in UX / Product Design, including experience leading design teams
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex enterprise product design and system-level thinking
• Experience designing AI-native, machine learning–driven, or agent-based products
• Ability to design for autonomous or semi-autonomous AI workflows where systems take action rather than only providing recommendations
• Strong understanding of design systems, interaction frameworks, and scalable UX architecture
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product leadership in fast-moving environments
• Strong storytelling and communication skills with the ability to articulate design vision to executives and cross-functional teams
• Ability to operate effectively as a player-coach, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on design work
