Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. The Hardware group at Eikon Therapeutics develops super-resolution, high-throughput optical instrumentation. The Hardware team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to participate in future instrument development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience designing complex digital and analog circuity
- Systems design experience contributing to design architecture
- Ability and desire to bring your design through all stages including directing PCBA layout, working with contract manufacturers, testing, debugging and rework of high density PCBAs with fine pitch components
- Strong experience debugging systems using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Hands-on experience building test set-ups, reworking and modifying assemblies during development and testing
- Experience in high-speed circuitry design such as DDR memory interfaces
- Proficiency with CAD systems for schematic capture and experience in directing and reviewing PCB layout for signal integrity and EMI
- FPGA design and debug experience
- Experience in debugging and design validation of microcontrollers or SoC-based systems
- Experience creating and implementing software and hardware test benches
- Demonstrated proficiency analog circuit design, analysis, and simulation / modeling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, presenting design ideas and receiving input from internal customers and product marketing
