Job Description
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Aerospace Systems Group. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles with the ability to take ideas from concept through design, build, test, and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and development
- Proficiency with EE CAD and simulation tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, SPICE, etc.)
- Strong understanding of general EE principles including
- Knowledge of design documentation and version control best practices (schematics, BOMs, revision control)
- Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and specifications (IPC-2221/610, MIL-STD-461, DO-160, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting
