Job Description
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Aerospace Systems Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and development
- Experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting circuits and PCBAs
- Proficiency with EE CAD and simulation tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, SPICE, etc.)
- Familiarity with scripting or analysis tools (Python + SciPy, MATLAB, etc.)
- Strong understanding of general EE principles including analog and digital circuit design, power distribution and regulation, signal integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC mitigation, component selection, derating, and tolerance analysis, electrical safety standards, ESD handling and design practices, and knowledge of design documentation and version control best practices
- Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and specifications
