Elbit America is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties related to the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security Engineering team, including risk mitigation, embedded system security, and software development. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field and at least 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or secure system/embedded systems.
Requirements
- Hold an accredited Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering degrees with a cumulative GPA of over 3.2 and a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or secure system/embedded systems
- OR Hold an accredited Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering degrees with a cumulative GPA of over 3.2 and a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or secure system/embedded systems
- OR Hold an accredited Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering degrees with a cumulative GPA of over 3.2
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), knowledge of embedded system security architectures and engineering approaches to building system security solutions, experience with the Department of Defense, Government Certification and Authorizing Officials or federal customer base, and Software development experience in one of the following core languages: C, C++ or C#
- Understand security vulnerabilities found via security tools (i.e., HP Fortify, Klocwork, Nessus/Tenable, and others) and have static/dynamic code analysis experience
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, understanding and following complex, detailed instructions, and working independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to approach technical problems logically and scientifically. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, and be able to work for short to moderate periods without direct supervision
- Computer skills, familiarity with essential shop tools and/or machine equipment, and an aptitude and understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, optical, or software engineering principles
- Requires technical writing and documentation skills
- CISSP or equivalent certification
- Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% to support projects
- Must be able to acquire a Secret Security clearance
