Role Overview

We are designing the grid of the future! EPE is looking to recruit a Manager of Interconnection Services covering the SERC region. In this role you’ll leverage a blend of commercial acumen and technical depth to guide our clients through the resource interconnection process across various utilities in the Southeast.

What You Will Do

Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of engineers fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation. Serve as a trusted advisor to generation and large developers helping them navigate SERC's evolving interconnection landscape.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the electric energy industry
• Solid technical background in transmission planning or interconnection
• Strong understanding of power system analysis and associated software tools
• Proven ability to connect the dots between technical depth and commercial strategy
• Exceptional communicator who can influence, create alignment and make decisions confidently under uncertainty
• Strong understanding of the interconnection requirements of at least one major utility in SERC
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
