Senior Distribution Planning Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Distribution Planning Engineer, you will develop and conduct distribution modeling, analysis, reports, presentations, and technical research related to various elements of the distribution system. You will work on designing the grid of the future and be part of an innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence.

What You Will Do

Perform distribution planning studies, identify expected system impacts from the interconnection of distributed energy resource technologies, perform technical reviews, and provide on technical advisory services. You will also communicate with clients, prepare and troubleshoot system models, and take responsibility for the timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis
• Master of Science or higher preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a power system engineer
• Strong technical skills and understanding
• Distribution modeling software experience in at least one software platform (preferably CYME or Synergi)
