Senior Application Specialist

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a practical, creative, and extremely talented hands-on Senior Applications Specialist to join our applications development team. The Sr. Application Specialist will provide local, site-specific support for our product development functions, characterizing and optimizing existing and newly developed products, and assisting in commercialization of the existing and new products by discussing results directly with customers.

Requirements

• PhD or master’s degree in chemical engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of related experience working in chemistry laboratories
• Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and expectations, build strong relationships, and positively impact customer decisions
• Initiative and Flexibility: Engage dynamically with customers, adapt project focus to meet evolving needs
• Communication Skills: Professional and responsible communication with internal and external customers
• Creativity: Trusted to plan, execute, and report on complex projects, capable of collaborative problem-solving and proactive initiative
• Results Orientation: Excellent organizational skills, managing multiple complex projects, set high performance standards and consistently complete tasks diligently
