The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership for the maintenance staff to maintain and repair all machinery and equipment in our facilities and ensure all buildings and grounds are well maintained.
Requirements
- plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate the workflow to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved
- train and develop maintenance personnel to improve the safety and technical skills through effective training in proper troubleshooting techniques and professional repair of machinery
- implement, maintain, and enforce the Company’s lock out tag out procedures
- develop, implement, and sustain a preventative maintenance program
- utilize and improve work order system to provide timely repairs to tools, machinery, equipment, and the facilities
- coordinate projects with the Plant Manager to ensure work is properly coordinated, approved, and completed in conformance with established priorities and procedures
- evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems and requirements
- actively participates in invoicing/billing reconciliation for work orders
- design, quote, and create equipment/fixtures to aid production processes
- modify current equipment/fixtures to update process requirements
- direct the environmental activities associated with the plant, such as air, water, and hazardous and nonhazardous solid and liquid waste
- maintain effective communication with all departments and any applicable outside resources
- ensure good housekeeping in all areas of the facility including maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, and common areas
- maintain regular and predictable attendance
- meet or exceed all performance and productivity standards
- promote a safe and healthy work environment on all company property to achieve the best working conditions for all employees and visitors
- stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or products
- ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
- perform other assignments as requested or as business needs require
- demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with vendors, visitors and other employees
