Electrical Engineer for Protection Technology in HVDC and STATCOM Facilities. Responsible for defining requirements for protection technology in HVDC and STATCOM facilities, developing technical and technological solutions, and accompanying large projects from concept development to realization and handover to operations.

Requirements

• Completed study in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or a comparable training
• Sound knowledge of the technical equipment of high- and high-voltage technology AC and DC, ideally of protection technology in compensation plants (FACTS), converter and converter technology (HVDC)
• Proficient handling of PC standard software, especially MS-Office and basic knowledge of operating system data banks and SAP, diagnosis and parameterization software
• Driving license and willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
• Languages: very good German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2)
