Job Description
Elica Health Centers is seeking a Dental Health Information Technology (HIT) Trainer to coordinate and lead ongoing HIT training for staff and providers. This role involves understanding clinical requirements and translating them into formal specifications to help develop training materials and training. The trainer will be responsible for onboarding EPIC and HIT systems, providing on-boarding training, and system enhancement/upgrades. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare software and technical concepts, and the ability to translate requirements into actionable practices.
Requirements
- Provides classroom, one-on-one and roaming support for end users, including support staff and clinicians.
- Provides hands-on initial and on-going training on the EHR system (EPIC) and related applications.
- Supports new or upgrade implementation modules.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related fields.
