Job Description
We have an opening for a Metal Saw Operator at Unisteel in Sterling Heights, MI. The position involves receiving, storing, handling, and cutting material to meet shop and customer requirements. Must have a can-do attitude, reliable attendance record, and desire to help the world transform everyday elements into extraordinary solutions.
Requirements
- Working mechanical knowledge/aptitude applicable with experience.
- Able to understand basic correspondence, instructions, rules, policies, graphs, and/or charts.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), understand fractions and use a tape measure.
- Vision includes acuity near and far, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Hearing ability to exchange information with co-workers and management and material handling equipment.
- Drive for results including a sense of timing, follow through, focus on priorities, and quality.
