Job Description
We are seeking a Steel Warehouse Saw/Flow Operator to join our team at Unisteel in Sterling Heights, MI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, handling, and cutting material to meet shop and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Working mechanical knowledge/aptitude applicable with experience
- Ability to understand basic correspondence, instructions, rules, policies, graphs, and/or charts
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), understand fractions and use a tape measure
- Vision includes acuity near and far, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Hearing ability to exchange information with co-workers and management and material handling equipment
- Drive for results including a sense of timing, follow through, focus on priorities, and quality
