The Account Manager- Inside Research Sales is responsible for growing Elsevier's journals and books through new sales and for the maintenance / growth of the existing base (renewals and upsell/cross-sell).
Requirements
- A University degree, BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of proven commercial (B2B) experience, including account planning, growing an account, cross-sell and up-sell
- Experience selling content, technology or similar (3 years’ experience)
- Experience in selling to academic institutions in Eastern and Southern India
- Proven success in negotiating contracts and closing business
- Proven success in new business prospecting, selling, negotiating and closing skills
- Experienced working in a global and highly matrixed organization
