We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Technology, Infrastructure, and Operations group. The role will involve designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS, contributing to shared infrastructure, improving automation, and enhancing the reliability and performance of our systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles in a product-based environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and system design principles.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- Familiarity with data systems like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices architectures.
- Exposure to cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
- Understanding of release management and deployment strategies.
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-product environments.
