Job Description
Experian is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure using various services, including CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in AWS, automation, and containerization, and will collaborate with backend and full-stack engineers to optimize build, deployment, and release processes.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)
- Experience with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, VPCs, security protocols, and cloud governance
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and production issues
