Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a Structural Engineer for an immediate need. The candidate must be local to Columbus, OH and must be willing to work onsite. The position involves performing analysis and designs of commercial, residential building projects, telecommunications structures and other types of structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in structures, from an ABET accredited institution.
- Strong understanding of design codes and regulations for buildings and towers.
- Strong understanding of steel, concrete and wood design principles.
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or able to legally work in the Unites States.
- Candidates should have excellent communication and organization skills and should exhibit a high level of self-motivation and productivity.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of building design experience.
