Job Description
The university is seeking a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Aviation and Aerospace Safety to teach undergraduate courses in areas such as human factors in aviation, aviation Safety Management Systems, and aircraft accident investigations.
Requirements
- PhD or M.S. in Aviation Safety or a closely related discipline
- Prior professional experience in managing SMS safety programs
- Demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching, service, and mentoring undergraduate students
- Professional certifications, such as ASI or ATP are desired
- Strong data analysis skills preferred
