Assistant Professor of Aviation and Aerospace Safety - Occupational Safety specialization (NTT), Daytona Beach Campus

The Opportunity: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in areas that may include occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, risk management, ergonomics, Safety Management Systems (SMS), with special emphasis on the aviation industry.

Requirements

• PhD (preferred) or M.S. (required) in Safety or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching, service, and mentoring undergraduate students
• Prior professional experience in managing SMS safety programs or industrial hygiene is highly desirable
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or designation as an OSHA Authorized Trainer are preferred
