Campus Safety and Security Supervisor

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Campus Safety and Security Supervisor to oversee shift operations and ensure the safety of the campus community. This role requires a high level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership. The supervisor will manage direct reports, implement policies and procedures, conduct investigations, and resolve security-related concerns.

Requirements

• High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition, and math
• 3-5 years of work related experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
• No felony convictions, must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid Arizona Driver’s license
• AZ DPS unarmed and armed guard cards
• CPR/AED
• Dispatch functions training
• IS – 300 Intermediate Incident Command Systems
• Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
• Clery Center Virtual Clery Act Training (VCATS)
• AZ DPS General Instructor Registration
• CRASE Instructor
