The Campus Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing uniformed safety officers and ensuring daily safety operations are conducted efficiently and in compliance with departmental policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of supervisory experience in security or related field.
- NYS Certified Security Guard License
- Fire Guard (F-04) certifications required.
- Valid NYS Driver's License required.
- Experience in higher education or non-profit security preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and incident reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and be on-call.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physical ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR training and First Aid preferred
