Communications Dispatcher

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable Communications Dispatcher to join the Campus Safety & Security team at the Daytona Beach campus, responsible for handling incoming and outgoing communications, coordinating emergency responses, and providing visitor support.

Requirements

• Monitor and dispatch Campus Safety & Security operations
• Accurately document incidents and staff activity into the Records Management system
• Provide directions and assistance to visitors, students, and staff
• Monitor and respond to fire, security, and emergency alarms and notification systems
• Execute emergency notification procedures and make internal staff notifications
• Maintain and update internal directories, access lists, and emergency procedures
• Manage and document lost and found property
• Issue temporary and permanent parking permits
• Provide information about parking policies and procedures
