Commodity Manager

Role Overview

The Sr Commodity Manager is responsible for proactively managing the total supply base performance and spend, developing sourcing strategy, and negotiating pricing & contracts for assigned commodities. They will establish strategic actions to take the commodity to the desired level set by the organization, working closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

Implement commodity strategies, support cost-effectiveness, develop and consolidate the supply base, manage commodity trends, and monitor budgets and constraints. Assist in the consolidation of insource/outsource strategies and contribute to project cost-effectiveness.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will need 6-8 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement with a strong background in casting categories. You will be responsible for developing plans for supplier performance development, cost reduction, and cost avoidance.

Requirements

• 6-8 years in Supply Chain and/or Procurement with strong background in casting categories
• Bachelor ́s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Business Administration
• Proficiency level in English
• Strong background in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization
• Experience working with global supply bases
