Job Description
The Generator Excitation Project Engineer will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and concept design to hardware/software engineering, simulation, testing, and commissioning. The role involves analyzing project inputs, designing and developing generator excitation systems, supervising assembly and testing, and leading system start-up and commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, control & Instrumentation, power engineering
- Three (3) to Eight (8) years of experience in generator excitation systems or related electrical engineering fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals
