To maintain superior customer focus, we are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for the shipping of our GO Switch and Switchbox products as specified to meet order requirements and on-time delivery of those products.
Requirements
- Verifies the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders
- Computes duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of product that is exported to foreign counties
- Processes US and International paperwork for transaction completeness and accuracy
- Ensures that safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
- Receives and reads customer order to identify item(s) to be pulled
- Fills customers' orders in accordance with specifications on order form
- Packages orders using appropriate shipping containers and packaging
- Operates standard or automatic machines, such as electronic scales and tapes machines
- Is able to work split shifts, when required
- Accurately prepares orders for shipment to include secure packaging and wrapping
- Responsible for accurate shipments (product and documentation)
- Responsible accurate reporting and on-time shipments of customer product as required
- Completes other assignments as assigned by management or designate
