The Strategic Planner is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and advancing the organization's long-term strategic direction. This role partners closely with executive leadership, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to support the Emerson Management Process and drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the organization's strategic plans, ensuring alignment with company purpose, values, and evolving market dynamics
- Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, long-term objectives, and actionable plans that support sustainable business growth
- Conduct market, competitive, and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks
- Gather, organize, and synthesize internal and external data across Flow Controls markets, world areas, business units, and operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Communicate strategic insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels
- Anticipate challenges to strategy execution and support change management efforts to drive adoption and alignment
- Help prioritize initiatives and projects based on strategic impact and business value
