Senior Estimator

We’re seeking a Senior Estimator with a background in civil construction and/or engineering who is ready to deliver accurate, competitive bids. Requirements

• Assist in creating estimates for Civil and Heavy Civil projects
• Help/lead review and develop scopes of work for subcontractors
• Assist in producing detailed material take-offs
• Support the production of high-level project schedules
• Help review project documents to confirm complete bid packages
• Assist in producing bid packages for subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with maintaining current labour, equipment, and material resource rates
• Assist in producing detailed bid analysis of subtrade quotes
• Support the review of projects for cost savings and materials alternate opportunities
• Monitoring Procurement platforms daily for suitable tender opportunities
• Assist in reviewing public bid sites for bid opportunities
• Attend site visits as required
• Perform other duties assigned by management
