Empire Office is seeking an Account Manager to manage client expectations, provide quality-based products, and deliver knowledge-based solutions in the NYC area.
Requirements
- Sales: Update clients on new product offerings and market trends.
- Sales: Exercise value engineering when interacting with clients.
- Sales: Work with the Marketing Department to provide updated materials and information to clients.
- Sales: Seek out opportunities for ancillary products and additional services to offer.
- Sales: Provide prompt and courteous responses to client inquiries, needs, requests, etc.
- Sales: Be available as needed for client face-to-face meetings and other necessary communications.
- Sales: Share the Empire story and promote the depth and breadth of resources.
- Sales: Promote Empire’s unique capabilities, knowledge, and expertise to clients.
- Sales: Remain cognizant and prepared for any anticipated client needs.
- Sales: Possess an understanding of the competition for proper product positioning.
- Sales: Negotiate with vendors for additional discounting to increase profitability.
- Sales: Continually practice strategic social relationship-building.
- Sales: Carry out forecasting and strategic account planning.
- Sales: Be available and willing to take on-site meetings and field measure spaces.
- Sales Process: Act as the liaison throughout the sales process by facilitating and managing all steps involved.
- Sales Process: Coordinate necessary actions as they are carried out by the Sales/Account Coordinator or Project Manager.
- Sales Process: Monitor all reports (e.g., waiting, unbilled, or aging).
- Sales Process: Mentor Junior Account Managers, if applicable.
