The Quality Assurance Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nightly sanitation process, ensuring JBS policies and procedures are followed, and interacting with multiple department leaders on specific issues. The supervisor will also inspect and identify repairs needed by maintenance or outside contractors, complete paperwork, and work with government regulatory organizations.
Requirements
- Monitors the sanitation process, reports opportunities and operational issues through the completion of the daily nightly log and emails
- Ensures that JBS and government policies are being followed
- Complete a walkthrough of plant to identify areas of opportunity and notify appropriate individuals through email or work orders
- Serves /acts as a liaison between sanitation management, plant departments and government regulatory organizations
- Interact and work with different departmental leaders
- Verify that chemical dilutions are correct either through visual monitoring or the process of titration
- Manage the weekly master sanitation schedule
- Document and ensure corrective actions are in place for items not serviced
- Visually verify required documents no less than one time a week to ensure sanitation contractor is audit ready
- Verify staffing numbers by area
- Conducts daily / after shift meetings as needed to review opportunities, concerns and improvements for sanitation shift and plant improvement
- Participates in meetings as requested / needed / required
- Communicates ideas, suggestions, problems and solutions as needed / required
- Assist in Pre-operational inspection as needed / requested
- Documenting Safety inspections, report all findings to include pictures
- Citing, recommending, and implementing corrective actions
- Security assistance within the plant for unexpected events, Security contractor absences, delinquencies, and plant ground perimeter abnormalities
- Ensure Safety compliance with PPE, LOTO, Scissor lift/ Mobile equipment, and Hazard Communication
- Oversee, inspect and audit daily
- Monitor Chemical labeling, Safety Data Sheets, and report if issues need to be addressed or corrected
- Monitor the Chemical Cage expected condition and compliance
- Conduct and participate in injury investigations, Safety Violation Reports, Cardinal Rule Investigations, and other determined areas of assessment and/or improvement
- Provide coaching to all Sanitors on the application of Safety principles, practices, and techniques in the workplace
- Assist Incident Commander in facility Evacuations & Shelter in Place. Help direct rescue, firefighting operations, police authority in the event of a fire or other emergency
